The craft

Made here, in Reims.

« We are filled with love… Gently, carefully, in the hands of our artisan. »

Every Mielliora jar is prepared in our atelier on rue de Talleyrand. There, our artisan works the honey with a spatula, stirs it, pairs it with fruit, then fills the jars, never in a hurry. In Reims, honey has a long memory: as early as 1571, the city’s gingerbread makers were already standing up for their craft.

  1. Choosing the honey

It all begins with pure honey. We taste it and choose it before we so much as touch it.

  2. Guiding the texture

For creamed honey, we guide the crystallisation slowly, until the grain is so fine it melts on the tongue.

  3. Pairing the flavours

Honey meets fruit. Every recipe is dreamt up here, tested, tasted, then tasted again.

  4. Filling the jar

Each jar is filled and sealed at the atelier. All that remains is for it to be opened, at your table.

Our creations

Spoonfuls of sweetness.

All dreamt up at the atelier, to keep for yourself or to give.

  • Ivory creamed honey with a gold spoon resting at the edge

    Creamed honeys

    Fine and silky.

Creamed honey comes from guided crystallisation: its grain becomes so fine that it spreads with ease and melts on the tongue.

  • Raspberries and halved figs on a midnight-blue plate, drizzled with honey

    Honey and fruit specialities

    Where honey meets fruit.

Honey and fruit specialities, dreamt up and prepared at the atelier. Keep tasting until you find your favourite flavour.

  • A thread of honey running from a wooden honey dipper against midnight blue

    Honeys for tasting

Think you know all there is to know about honey?

In the boutique, you taste with a little spoon, compare, hesitate. We’re about to surprise you.

  • Midnight-blue paper with a gold honeycomb border, tied with a champagne ribbon
